FIRST means For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology and FRC means FIRST Robotics Competition
I program mostly in Java and also Python with OpenCV for the camera detection program.

I am learning to program on Java, did this help you when you were programming even though it doesn't teach FTC?
