Do I need to learn C to learn Python?

One of my friend told me that I need to learn C to have good grasp in Python.. Is It true??

if you want to be a master of algorithms,i suggest you to start "Introduction to CLRS"!!its a fine book

no you don't need,it's more easier than C and you can learn faster than C or C++.

False. how to different languages can be connected. But one think that connected is algorithm. almost in every language algorithm of coding is the same

at first u should be good on math and just read about algorithm. take some courses of coding.
