marcell Ah... I wasn't getting that vibe from you. I thought it was a dreadful experience you were having to force yourself through. Perhaps then, I say, keep at it. šŸ˜Ž The initial learning curve is tough for most people. Don't get discouraged. Nothing worthwhile comes easy.

Call me crazy, but if it makes you frustrated, maybe programming isn't for you. We all have different strengths and weaknesses. Programming requires discipline, commitment, patience, determination, resourcefulness, confidence, drive, focus, a strong aptitude for learning, ability to think abstractly and logically, and unbridled passion. At least, that's what naturally occurred for me when I got started 22 years ago before the internet exploded into the endless source of accessible information it is today. Seriously, if learning to program is tough with the boundless resources available and you don't find the journey to be an addictive, enjoyable experience, it just might be a sign that programming isn't your thing. As much as I wish I could draw, dance, or sing, these things ain't gonna happen for me. šŸ˜‰ Just sayin...

don't know about all that burning desire, aptitude , unbridled passion, but in any new skill learning, if it doesn't gets complicated, confusing or frustrating then you never tried actually.

Going to agree with what's been said. I taught myself to program 18 years ago when the www internet was very new. I had to google for tutorials piecemeal and trial and error all alone. I loved it. It's a logical art. You are creating something from a blank canvas but I stuck at drawing so this felt like art for me. I was hooked immediately and I've been doing it professionally ever since. It takes a lot of dedication. You are learning new languages. literally. grammar and syntax and vocabulary. Often a new way of thinking about problems. It isn't drag and drop like a website builder. You have a box full of tools and a pile of wood and you have to build the house. It can be difficult and problems can stump you for days. But seeing a finished product out in the world is massively awesome.

I truly agree with David Carroll , if you don't feel this burning desire to code, your coding career will be a hell!!

If you really wanna do it, it's achievable but you've got to put in efforts. Only you can truly measure its worth
