Learning to code. Please help.

I have heard of many sites like 'scratch' etc in which we can learn and build apps using blocks. Is it good and beneficiary for beginners? Do you think beginners can start learning by this method ? What are its advantages or benefits?

I am beginner too but i used different platform to learn different languages but my personal opinion is start learning from wherever you want then same language start with different platform to see difference and make your learning permanent then practice it....
this is best way...

there are lots of platform where u can start learning like edx course, w3schoool,code academy,codenza etc....

but the main thing is to start from wherever you want

blocks wont help your programming skills. the only thing that would help is to practice and try to write the codes yourself. it doesn't matter where you learn it from as long as you are practicing
