Python is a perfect step in into the oo world. it is easy to get in and gives the whole horizon of oo. And it is easy to use as an interpreter. Software engineers use python for prototyping. If the code is ok they make it on the target system as example in java. python is a general purpose lang and has a cosmic community. it is a perfect lang for beginners.
