What is the difference of C#, C and C++? Why are they the same in letter "C"? And why C? Is there any meaning ?

C#, C and C++ are three totaly different languages. C++ is actually a new version of C(its name even says C + 1). They all have the letter "C", because they all come from the same syntax family. That means that their syntax is pretty similar, so if you understand one of them you probably won't have much problems with other two.

It might sound like a joke, but, actually, the “C” language came out as an evolution of “B” language. Basicly, it was created to develop UNIX OS, and then the rest of C-ish languages came from “C”.
