What's the difference between xhtml and html 5?

XHTML is a version of HTML wherein related to XML. It is used for the developers to have a constant way of coding because of it is more strict. Then comes the newest version which is HTML5 that doesn't need a strict coding to run. Futhermore there is what we call XHTML5. Just use google to gather more information.

xhtml is a stricter (syntax wise) version of html used to store data for a program. 5html is the newest version of html which is used to structure websites.
