Are we back to earning points when we answer questions?

Question

I started using SL early last month and I never got points from answering questions even when they got likes or were marked best answer. But these past few days I noticed that my answers get me points. A search in the discussions revealed that it used to happen last year or so... So anyone can tell me how it worked?

well likes doesn't provide u xp ...
unless u unlock any related badge...
only best answer mark provide xp...
& it's working fine with me ...
i m using SL since last year ...
i m getting xp for best answer mark... 🤔🤔🤔

The same had happened to me. I have received nothing from answering questions, until a few days ago, when I got lots of XP for best answer.
