How to charge clients on project

I have a very bad project charging attitude that makes me give up easily at the middle of a project. Initially, I use to think the project is as small and I will just charge a token, till I see it rise above the initial charge. It's becoming uneasy and unfair to me seeing that I've been cheated. Please help me out

I don't 100% know what you're talking about. But if you're freelancing, just charge more upfront! If they don't want to pay, ignore them.
