Is becoming a data scientist worth it?

I have started studying data science, and it will take time, a lot of time. But then after studying all night, this question strikes me!! What can you suggest?

Since I started really late in my life, perhaps my answer will be a bit, hmmm... biased ;) I've always been into numbers and data analytics and business intelligence were part of my professional life. How come machine learning and data science passed by me for so many years, I wonder even now... Anyway, it was through the commence of my Python track that I tapped into data crunching with the snake. Oh man, that was totally it and I've been missing so much without it... It's been a few months since then and I still am on my path towards becoming a data scientist. But to be honest, I haven't had any doubts. You can say I found my calling đŸ“ŠđŸ‘©đŸ»â€đŸ’»đŸŠ„

I can really recommend the Andrew Ng's course. Although I had to stop and rewind some of the lessons, learn a new software and language syntax which I will probably not going to use anywhere else and translate it to my beloved Python, that gave me a lot of confidence and comprehension of what is happening behind the scenes and how it is all connected. I know, I know, a truism for a 1st year student of Maths faculty, but a revelation for me ;) Check out my recommended courses on coursera in here: https://code.sololearn.com/W2nvcMqTRi4q/?ref=app
