What would you want a new sololearner to know?

Firslty, I checked with the search feature and didn't find such a question but maybe I went with the wrong keywords so apologies if it's a duplicate... And yes, I did see the tips and tricks thread already

Now, to my question. I do not just mean someone new to programming though that might include what I mean by new sololearner. What I am actually asking is what you would want to tell someone new to the app, as a general advice as to how to make the most of it, what to do, what not to do...
