First of all there's no need of getting coaching classes for NIMCET level exam. It's hell easy even if you dedicated 3–4 hours honestly & regularly. Now the question comes to the routine. Keep it short & simple. And set your goals as short term goals. The paper is of 1000 marks in which maths is 600 marks. So, Maths is the mass scorer. Take just 2 books, RD SHARMA OBJECTIVE MATHEMATICS FOR IIT-JEE & SELF-SCORER. Divide your topics. Aptitude + Reasoning = 240 marks Reasoning every alternate day from LUCENT book for verbal reasoning. Aptitude & computer ain't that important, since we don't know the weigtage of apti and it's not asked much. Computer = 80 marks A little amount of programming related questions, questions on logic GATE, conversions, are asked in computer section. but for these things refer MCA ARIHANT, COMPLETE PACKAGE. English = 80 marks to be studied in the last 15 days that too not important because nobody solves long passages to waste time in English. A few simple grammatical questions but nothing to worry you can leave that whole section You know even if you score 350/1000 you will pass. But as you want NITT, try to score full in maths and Reasoning. You need atleast 500+ Solve previous years question papers and from them you can filter out the most important topics which are asked every year the most. Join nimcet Facebook groups, for sample papers and preparation strategy & also follow JMA MCA website for question papers & solutions. Rest you can figure it out yourself. Hope this helps. Good luck & God's Alive :) SOURCE: https://www.quora.com/How-should-I-go-about-preparing-self-study-for-the-NIMCET-2018-I-have-6-months
