Cool web stuff ( HTML & CSS )

Who else thinks that most of the people on Sololearn tend to more and more Web stuff rather than actual languages such as C++, Java just because web stuff looks cool and you can interact with it. What do you guys think?

i do agree that web related "stuff" can be more attractive, as it lets you create something visual, which people can/do appreciate. but i don't think there is a preference to language as to one being superior when compared to the other. it's a matter of taste which language people choose (also what they want to do detrtmines which language to choose). and yes, people can get immediately results with web. it's easier to learn than the programming languages.

From an estetically point view its normal (console codes are not very attractly but rare exceptions and lack of interaction increase this)... Not-Web code are usefuls when you want show an algorithm that cannot has graphics representation but it can be maded on web code also with controlled graphics and interactions... Futhermore most users starts with web developing because is more "concrete" (you see what you are developing)

and i may be diverging from the topic, but i still would like to add: (web)design and a nice look of the page is fine, but what about content? seems to me there are a lot of designers (and those who want to become designers) but no content creators.
