How do you deal with Information overloading?
Due to the fact that there are great numbers of Websites, books, videos etc that teach the same thing... eg freeCodeCamp,Codecademy,Udemy, they teach programming... The million dollar question is How do you deal with all those information ..That is how do you pick the right resources for you

Orphan, there's a big big need to visit other resources, because ,like it or not, Sololearn doesn't cover everything

thanks for the thread. something that was bothering me a lot.
as you say, there are too many resources out there, too many containing the same copy/past information which you saw on thousands of sites before, lacking in quality. also many of them starting with that same "hello world!" oddity, makes one want to scream out loud.
i would consider the source to be right which teacges the concepts, must know ideas first, which helps you put the new learned knowledge into perspective, which helps you make sense of what you learn, as you learn.
example: instead of writing a hello world page with a dozen of tags amd then trying to ecplain those... starting with concepts like structure, content, how a page is constructed, hıw html is the blueprint of a page, what role css plays in web design etc...
or... when a resource teaching about programming starts with something like ... "programming is about memory management", and not again printing hello world on screen.

I start with free resources. browse quickly to see it it helps solving the problem I am looking at.
Good resources tend to reference each other and are often mentioned in posts by people with similar problems to solve.
So by following links I usually end up finding something I am comfortable with.
I use paid resource only when free resources are not enough, and if there are multiple positive references to it or its author, or recommended by someone I trust.
