Is it necessary to know C++ if you are android developer?

i am interesting in this question for a long time , i am android developer , for my opinion it is necessary because in other way you can't work with opengl so easy.
P.S. it isnt easy to work with opengl at all ;)

Its not impossible, you can learn a lot once you start your proyect. Android works with a hibrid xml and java, but if you already know basic computer architecture, you can easily learn android empirically

As far as I know.. U shud have a good knowledge of java instead of c++ because creating android apps u need java
