how can i program a wireless hardware

i have been thinking if there is a way one can program a wireless hardware like an alarm clock using codes please help enlighten me on this

you can create that by making embedded system for that
embedded system is a system which is made for specific tasks and this system is executed by burning the source code in it
first you have to design software code for your task then compile it in the ide by using cross compiler which convert source code to object code and this object code is further converted into binary files by linker then linker link and load the code to your hardware this way you can load code in your hardware from which u can execute your code by USB or other things and the output will be came as your program is required
