Time spent here is variable not defined; For now i spend most of my time with code, Q/A and assignments. As to what is the best way to get good programming skills. While 'practice' should in theory make you better than before. There's a catch. If the only thing you practise is how to print a *hello world* program in the same way. Then the only thing improved is how to type that program faster; Even then smarter programs will still beat you in it. My advice: Start learning by doing, Read code, write code, build stuff, learn new ways of doing things. Keep on building things(Make sure they aren't far above or below your skillset) and don't forgot to improve your existing work. You should be better than before.
