There is a best programming language, and it is that one that you enjoy most and which helps you to realise your ideas

I like all of them. they all seem so interesting in their own way and you can never get bored of programming because a new language pops up everyday

I think more important than "What is the best language", is "What is the best way to use a language". Today, there are really little differences between language performances because: 1- Frameworks and Objective features makes languages powerful. 2- Programmers' thinking (programs' algorithms) are more important than the language they use. 3- There is not any slow language, because hardwares are enough powerful to run great programs; even a language works a little slower. I'm not telling your question is wrong, it is a good one; but it's better to think about how to make a good program. How to create new programs?

If there was a best programming language, SoloLearn would have only one Course.

There is no "best language" as evey language got its purpose but I enjoy Java and Ruby most. Don't mistake HTML and CSS as programming languages.

The language i prefer is SmallTalk : the most concise, fully reflexive object oriented language. It seems that it becomes more and more used today. As concerns me, i learnt it for pleasure.

I love HTML, but it's a markup language. So my favourite programming language is Java.
