Hi. Can't say if there is something specific for python. Python IDE is valid, but if you want something better, I recommend Visual Studio Code (Not Visual Studio). It's a good Text Editor and you can customize it a lot. There are plenty of YouTube videos to help you make it good for Python.
About the book, I'm sorry but since I'm more towards JavaScript, I can't name any. Regards
