Yes, Oracle have Oracle XE (Express Edition) and MySQL Community Edition, and MS SQL Server has also Express Edition, these are free. If you select Enterprise Edition is when you have to pay for the serial key. I know Access is not even included in Office 365 E1 or Office 365 Pro Plus enterprise subscriptions. If you want Microsoft Access 2016 in your enterprise, you have to opt for the full Office 365 E3 subscription, I don't know if you remember MS Access came included in all MS Office package.

Rishi, I know both but I started with Oracle, if you ask me which one I prefer, I can answer Oracle Database. Why? today Java belongs to Oracle Company and they go hand in hand. MS SQL Server is a good Database if you planning to become C#.Net or VB.Net developer. I think I also answer Veerest question, Java is hot and it is on demand if you planning become a Java Developer go for Oracle. The reason that I answered and provided links to show how to install MS SQL Server on a laptop was because that was the original question: How to download SQL server on laptop? l want to do practice on that.

i would cohice oracle. this one is more flexible. and a nice feature is that you have APEX on it its a rapid application development tool. with that yiu can made webaplications. its easy to learn. and a nother nice feature is that you can more develop. oracle has the language pl/sql. its made by oracle and is like python. the xe edition is okay but they is an old one version 11 and APEX is old too (v4.2) i think in a few month they will come the 12xe because APEX is release a 5.1 version.

All you need to do is just download wamp server(www.wampserver.com/en/ ) or xamp server(https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html). Set up by following the documentation. That's it as it comes with sql server it is automatically installed and configured.

If you're new, use MySQL for practice. Its fast, easy to use and smaller. You can download the Community Edition from www.mysql.com/downloads/.

Well the thing is Samuel, if anyone wishes to be good software developer, they should avoid Microsoft altogether.
