c++!?? idk for sure. Since modeling takes a lot of power and speed i would guess most softwares are made with c++.

Fortran is used a lot, matlab also and Mathematica ( I mean the included languages), python is also used a lot with numpy and scipy and matplotlib but as far as I know fortran is still king in most physics departments

Js does the job. P5.js is also excellent for physics simulations. e.g. (2nd one takes some time to load) https://code.sololearn.com/WG1Oc5S07P3t/?ref=app https://code.sololearn.com/WTLq2T28Sz1v/?ref=app https://code.sololearn.com/WAF7H6iNsuX0/?ref=app
