@GODOFPC His problem is more in regards to being able to use "lesser graphics" so that it can run efficiently on a computer that's utilizing integrated graphics instead of dedicated. With that being said, you can create games on Unreal/Unity that accomplish that task. I've created many 2D games that'll run on every platform I've thrown at it, including systems that are using integrated graphics. However, if you create big/good graphic games with it, then don't expect much performance from the integrated cards. I know Nvidia and ATI have created some decent integrated graphics, but they pale in comparison to having a dedicated gfx card.

As Max said, you can certainly do that, but you have to be conscious about the type of graphics you're using for your game, since that's what the graphics card is processing and handling for you. But yes, most engines are more than capable of utilizing the type of graphics you require.

Yeah, Unity rocks at 2D. Get yourself a sprite program (doesn’t have to be paid for. I use a free one) Create some nice pixel art, make a character sprite sheet with a few animations, add a bit of game logic, and controls, and you’ve got a game.

@Jax Okay. :D I could actually use some help with testing on some of the stuff I'm working on. I'll try to upload it to my servers this weekend and will link you up if you want to test it out so I can get some feedback on it. As far as main projects, I can't show those off yet, but some of my side projects I'll definitely let you play around with and learn from if you want the source for it. @「HAPPY TO HELP」 lolol No worries bro. I know how that goes all too well. I've been working with Unity on and off for the past few years, but only more recently began to really take it serious since I'm in the process of transitioning over to game development fully in my professional life. Hope to officially release some games this year. If they're good enough to get on Steam, hope to do it before the Winter Sale if all goes well. Will take it however I can get it though. :D So, what's your current focus in regards to game development? We have a little team going that consists of people here on SoloLearn, many of which are learning, so if you're ever interested in joining up, let me know.

Fata1 Err0r Yeah, that’d be great! 😂 I’m not sure how I’ll get notified, because you can’t post on one of my codes. Go ahead and post anywhere you can get to me though.

I would recommend using the godot engine to make 2D games. It has very nice support for 2D that’s not frankensteined on there as it is in unity. It’s even cross platform so you can develop for iOS android Linux Mac and windows
