What is the point of arrays? When are they used when programming for a website?

Arrays are a building block of other more complex structures. They are useful for storing a list of any kind. Let's say that you have a website that asks people questions, you can store these questions in an array. You can also store responses in an array. In its most basic form it is a list.

array is a bunch of valuebles of the same type, for example you can create an array of letters called alphabet

i think its not for websites its like matrix. 2 dimensional array is the matrix self. did you lern about matrices at school?
