Don't change to the IT-sector because "there are many jobs in it". Choose the sector you feel best in. When you are outstanding in a job, because you really like it, you will be employed in no time :)

Sure. It shouldn't affect you, and programming is a useful skill.

Hello there sanja ,
Well I agree with Boem Shakalaka , you probably are about to make a serious decision here, so don't just take a path because many follows it, rather do if you like it (better if you love it), and of course, you're confident with your competence in the field.
And about your pregnancy, nothing to worry about so long as it's just learning, a different view might be considered if it were full time, demanding, job with strict deadline, anxiety and mental pressure *might* bring exhaustion which eventually leads to risk, although there are more pregnant moms get trouble from physical exhaustion admittedly.
Have fun learning and congrats!

Programming can be fun, a lot of fun. Java does not have the same applications as HTML, JavaScript and CSS. The latter is used for Web Development. Now, this is a field where it is easy to freelance and well, working for oneself has advantages and disadvantages. And every business needs a solid website nowadays so I doubt there is a shortage of jobs. It takes a lot of creativity but well, HTML, CSS and JS can be considered easier to learn than other languages. Though with the time you will need to learn a lot more stuff than just those three. But with some passion, it will be a fun and enjoyable ride.
Java, on the other side has so many applications I cannot cite them all here but yeah, for beginners it can be a hard language to master. In the long run a good Java programmer won't remain jobless either but if you find it hard you might not have the patience for it.
And a pregnancy won't stop you from learning this stuff. Programmers spend their days seated anyway âș Good Luck!
