Any Tips For Java Beginners

Hi i am Vikas i just started to learn Java i dont know anything about it but i know C,C++,HTML,VB.NET so will it be hard for me to learn Java

Shouldnt be hard since you know the basics of programming anyway like functions, objects, variable scopes etc. Just about adapting to the new environment. Also have a look at codingbat website, there is over 300 exercises regarding java to help you understand java faster.

First learn concepts and understand concepts. Then do a lot of exercises( so important). Create some project by using what you learn. If you can, learn in book. You should not learn from tutorial on internet. Because books contain a more information than tutorials.
