Is Jquery still relevant in 2018?

Question

I've just started the course in SL and wondering if Jquery is still used in 2018 and does it have any future? Is it worth my time or should I invest in some of the more popular frameworks like Angular or React?

learn jquery, its not that much or that hard, just realize that most things that can be done in jqeury can be done easily in native js nowadays whereas back in the day it was harder. after jquery you will better understand what problems the modern frameworks like react or vue solve and why they solve them this way
