Which version is used in this app?

I had gone to the Python.org site , there are many versions . Which one I should download .

python has two versions in active development. 2.x and 3.x SoloLearn supports 3.x

python 2 is legacy, python 3 is future. for new software development, python 3 is the encouraged one. depend on what library/module you want to use, if they can support the latest python, you can download the latest one, if they stated that support up to python 3.4, then you have that choice only. in sololearn, we learn python 3, its compatible to all version from 3.0 and above.
