Just a side comment, IBM SPSS (commonly used in corporate world for data analysis), has an embedded version of Python installed, allowing using Python scripts -- it is Python 2.5, though :( (yes, 2.5, not 2.7. The 2009 compilation. Call that a *legacy* ;)

another side comment. You can code in R and Python in R Studio. That’s a good news for data scientists. ;)
