What to do after learning SQL?

What are the applications of SQL? and How can I practice it in Windows 7? I have installed xampp.

SQL is used to store and retrieve data from database. Every information is store in database whether it will be a web application or any other application.

You can easily practice it using SQL section provided by XAMPP.
After you realised that I actually have completed SQL and I can write any query, then you should move to PHP where you learned real application of SQL.

Try implicating it with PHP and some web pages that requires a user to log in and retrieve other information from the database
