so far...Eclipse is the best as far as Java Compiler is concerned..i am sure you will love it..Click and click..click..the program is done.. :-)

To run them? Just download Java and install it, it'll place the JRE on your machine so you can run Java programs. If you mean an IDE to create code, then Eclipse, NetBeans, and IntelliJ are all excellent choices to pick from.

Eclipse is the most widely used JAVA IDE... Eclipse is written mostly in Java and its primary use is for developing Java applications...

@Max Your guess is as good as mine. :D lol Considering he is barely into the course, I doubt that's even a thought yet. You may be right though and that's a good list to check out.
