Php or node.js?

I would like to know what they recommend I am starting to learn a programming language and I am hesitant in javascrip (and for the backend to use node.js) or learn php, in terms of work field that would serve me more

Node.js is better than PHP. Unfortunately many shared hosting not support Node.js. If your hosting supports Node.js. just go for Node.js.

Why limit yourself to one, learn both, create a portfolio with projects using both backend languages, thus gaining a feel for what works best in any giving situation plus, you can show potential employers you have experience in both. This platform is just a jumping off point to starting your path in coding, each course is just a primer. Soak it up then dive deeper into what you peaks your interest.
