Should I be writing notes too?
i know they say the best way to learn is to just dive in and start coding, which i am, but i wanted to go back through each lesson and write down important takeaways too. i think writing notes will help reinforce the important stuff in my memory. that being said, the reason I'm asking is because most questions (at least for a beginner like me) can be googled (or answered by yall đ) and wanted to know if the extra effort is worth it

Do what you find most helpful in learning, if taking notes help you learn, then go for it, other than that, practicing also indirectly "carved" notes in our mind, I guess.
If you're used to do something, then you will be doing it automatically, there will be just a little chance you would need to look back at the instructions/how-to as it's all are solid in your mind : )

Writing Notes will help you if you are not getting the concepts of any programming/markup language. Not only the Writing down notes things will work, but you must also try to practice what you have learned. Try to make small projects to test if you have conquered the concept of the Programming Language.

ya I hope notes help a lot. I mean some syntax which u rarely use sometimes u forget those syntaxes so in such cases what I do is maintain a dairy of notes.(only syntax)
