Will I able to create Android applications using Java

With Android application development, Java (and Kotlin) is probably the best option to go with when going into that field. If you want to start, I would recommend looking into Android Studio as it is a very popular IDE used to create applications for literally any device that runs Android. It also uses a little bit of XML, but that's quite an easy language to learn and you could get the hang of it very quickly :)
