since DOM is nothing but library functions for javascript to access html. its important that you stay updated with changes to them. i ll suggest to stick with mozilla, coz w3schools contents are not updated properly. But for quick practice or first timers w3schools is really good

I wouldn't recommend w3schools.com, it follows a lot of bad practices. Use it with brains and for a quick reference only. MDN is preferred.
