shehroz irfan 0 is an even number. Because it is divisible by 2. Even -6, -4, -2 etc are even numbers according to the theory.

its even since : an odd number is odd only if it can be written on a form
x = 2k +1 ( for all k belongs to (Z)).
but , 0 != 2k +1 ( for all k belongs to (Z))

so 0 is even ( since there exists k belnongs to (Z) such that 0 = 2k (k=0) ) .

0 is Even because every even number comes between two Odd numbers like:
-1 ,0 and 1
Both 1's are Odd and 0 is Even you see..!
