Even. How? Because an integer can be even only when it can be written as x = 2y, where y and x are integers and x is the integer in question. And 0 = 2 • 0

Stefano Prosperi I didn't mean that :| Also, Mods are not responsible for quiz approvals.. It's only Sololearn which approves a quiz. Community upvotes/downvotes play some part too but the final decision is always in the hands of SL. Having half information and with that criticizing someone is not good.

shehroz irfan 0 is an even number. Because it is divisible by 2. Even -6, -4, -2 etc are even numbers according to the theory.

its even since : an odd number is odd only if it can be written on a form x = 2k +1 ( for all k belongs to (Z)). but , 0 != 2k +1 ( for all k belongs to (Z)) so 0 is even ( since there exists k belnongs to (Z) such that 0 = 2k (k=0) ) .

Zero is an even number. In other words, its parity—the quality of an integer being even or odd—is even. This can be easily verified based on the definition of "even": it is an integer multiple of 2, specifically 0 × 2. As a result, zero shares all the properties that characterize even numbers.

Sometimes i think 0 is not actually a number. it's denotes nothingness; it's neither even or odd. it's just the point where counting begins. divide any other number x by any number y; u wouldn't get 0 Have we seen an object moving at a speed of 0m/s?
