Should I learn C before Swift?

I decided to learn Swift but when I opened it it said it is using Objective-C. So should I learn Swift first or C language? Pls help.

Basically C is the mom of every language.. So if you want to start with Swift I would suggest you to learn C first.. Also I would like to know the logic behind marking your answer(actually a question)itself as best answer.. 😂😂😂

Yash Swift is the Apple iOS language. So its scope is very limited: it works only on Apple products and online Swift compilers. You can code in Swift with Xcode, an application only for Mac. C is a general-purpose imperative programming language designed by Dennis Ritchie between 1969 and 1973. It is a low-level language, but it's important to learn it first because you can do loads of things with it. And don't forget that C has his own code playground into SoloLearn, but Swift no!

C is the language in which many languages are written so what I felt that you should better learn C before But it is not compulsory to know any language before starting with any other language specially if you are thinking about backend
