What is future of ActionScript?

With Adobe announcing EOL for Flash, what does the future for Action Script looks like? I know currently we may use Js with it using AS-Js bridge, but will people stop using it now that we have react/ Angular JS available? What should an AS developer should expect?

they should expect that they need to learn other languages and rewrite apps in more modern technology

As I said earlier, some languages are not currently needed, and I think that is the case. JS has evolved a lot and has solved several problems that it has had, which makes it easier to develop applications (which Flash was previously recommended for). Possibly ActionScript does not die yet, but its use may decay if Adobe does not incorporate it otherwise in its products.

Thanks Mickel, I think there are very few Flash based products left that Adobe is offering. For instance their Flash SDK and Desktop HLS Flash Payer.
