Best resources for learning back-end?

I recently started learning web development with hopes of building a web app. I've covered HTML and CSS through learn.shayhowe.com and I feel like I've got a pretty good (beginner's) grasp of those front-end aspects. But now I'd like to turn my learning attention toward the more back-end pieces and start figuring out, for example, how a web app gets hooked up to the server/database. What are some of the best online resources for picking up these skills?

Hi Spencer , Go to: https://www.w3schools.com/default.asp And server side tutorials. W3schools is very good for learning web development. Goodluck 😉 🙋
