How does Java and the Android API come to gather (among other things) to form a mobile application?
like in depth, how do they come together? what's the relationship? I'm sorry if this question is to ...well idk... I've been studying Java for the last couple of weeks... for mobile app development.. I want to create normal apps and games.. as my life's career.. I don't have a job now... because all I want to do is Code.... I don't wanna be rich but I do want to be able to live off of it EVENTUALLY I understand it will be some time before I am able to. but studying is just to Freaking Fun.......

In easy words, you could say that Android API is made of a percentage of the Java API (not all Java API is applicable to mobile phones, so they took only some parts) and now also a percentage of new specific packages created for mobile work
