What is the logic behind tie-breaker in challenges?

I have had the same question in mind. Recently, though, I haven't met with tie-breakers and have been getting tons of draws. I thought the devs removed it due to it being bugged.

Yes, I think in the new updated version. They have removed the tie breakers.
