SoloLearn is a good place to practice, play around, learn basics, revise, develop simple codes, and be a part of community. But it won't really teach you serious programming. For that, I would advise, visit codeschool or codeacademy, or read books.

I've never tried C#. So I can't really tell you, which one is best. But see these https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/67ef8sbd.aspx http://csharp-station.com/ Also, one more thing. I would recommend not to use C# if you're choosing your first language. Try Python instead. Trust me, you'll be more satisfied with your decision.
