Have javascript constantly change/evolved over time?

And does the same goes for the other programming languages as well?

yes. programming languages, at least most popular ones, always undergo many updates and changes. part of being a programmer is learning these changes and adapting

Oh yes: in the early days, javascript was very poor, and wasn't consider for a long time as a real language, since it essentially have to permit manipulation of images in the document, hardly more. This was the first steps of Dynamic Html ( DHTML ): a mini revolution :D Then, gradually, he grew up, became more mature. It's evolution curve is totally atypical, and if other languages also known (r)evolutions ( sometimes a little drastically ) in their history, none has starting from as far away. So, no, other programming langage aren't as well ^^
