Can python be used to write a mobile app?

I have an moneymaker idea which is a little hard to write with other languages like java(I've tried it), someone told me that python is a strong and powerful language on mobiles,
also I need to do it myself because programmers charge too much to write it
so can it be used for mobile?

Python is defiently not a strong and powerful language on mobile. It can be done, but I think it converts down to Java.

If you're looking for a powerful language on mobile then C/C++ could work. However if you're looking for it to be easier to write then you might be stuck with Java.
