New HTML5 attributes

What is the function of all HTML5 attributes, because i simply can't add the attributes on sublime text 3.Can someone explain how to repair it or what im doing wrong?

I don't know what you mean, maybe you want to work with the HTML 5 elements using <!DOCTYPE html>, if you meant something other then explain it more clear.

William Ong I am using Sublime Text 3 too. If the system doesn't propose HTML attributes, check your file's extension. Make sure you've named it "test.htm" or "myfile.html".
