Well with C++ you can make System related programs the way i would put it is that C++ isn't as open as Python meaning with Python you could create a lot of programs from it being web based to system based (and games) you could also do the same with C++ only that C++ doesn't actually rely on a lot of web based things C++ is used mostly for creating Operating systems, text editors, etc really any program ideas you have on your mind you would be able to create that program and about the whole web based thing from what i know C++ isn't used for that although it can be used for web sockets, etc this is just from what i know but feel free to do your own research of course and just to clarify again C++ can really be used for whatever you want to use it for you could even make an "app" from C++ by making a program that's like an app do you get me? think of what you want to create and use C++ as the advantage
