WHAT IS THE BENEFITS OF C++

Compared to C? Oriented Object Programation, when you can just emulate it with C ( which is functional programation oriented paradigme ).
But C's still a lot used, when needs for very memory or speed optimized must be ( like micro-programm, embeded devices, OS kernel... )
