Opinions of Course and Programming?
I need some help deciding what is going to be a credible program or course I can take in Canada and if schooling is even worth it or if I can teach myself all the necessary info online and get the needed certificates that way? Looking for help as want to change my career into the IT and Developing industry. I want to work on development for webs apps and games etc If anyone has any tips or some beneficial inside industry info it would be much appreciated!

While schooling helps give you direction and network, it is definitely possible to self teach yourself to a hireable level. YouTube alone has enough tutorials for whatever you are trying to learn. Most important thing is to keep track of what you make so you have something to show employers.

Not sure about Canada, but in the US, it mostly depends on the type of gig you want to land.
As an independent contractor, you can self-teach.
Employment at a large software company (i.e. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, FaceBook, etc.) will most likely take candidates with a CS degree (or math as an alternative) and can handle their interview questions.
Employment at a large company where software isn't part of their core competency or a mid-sized company will likely be okay with a coding camp and a good portfolio.
Startups will take anyone who is willing to slave for long hours.
My opinion.
