What is cufon font ?

what is cufon font and how to use cufon font as my font in a web page, it's advantages and disadvantages.

Cufon is the old way to use "non safe"fonts before the @ font-face. What is does is to overlap the real text with an image,so you keep the text for SEO, yet everybody see a nice font (which is an image).
