Does JDK cause lag in laptop?

I wonder whether Java compilation can run well on my laptop as my laptop has only 2GB of ram. Does installing the JDK(Java Development Kit) cause lagging problem?

Over two years of usage, I've had no problems compiling Java apps with my 2GB device. Android gradle builds make take longer (2 to 5 minutes) but it works.

2GB of ram can be not enough for more advanced applications.

It lagged a bit for my computer. But it has been attributed to the intelligent detector that lists the files, and this is Eclipse's fault. I don't think JDK is a source of lag.

I think 2GB RAM is enough to compile with jdk, maybe your CPU to slow!
