I read in a medium article that OOP is now obsolete. That the current is functional. How much sense does that make?
What's the best approach to learn about OOP? Which should I learn first; OOP or functional?

Frequently, similar articles appear on the advantages of functional programming over OOP.
OOP is one of the most used paradigms, and will not be obsolete suddenly. Possibly the article is only a partial opinion of its creator.
Something that has happened is that many elements of functional programming have taken more strength now. In several object-oriented languages elements of functional languages have been incorporated (such as lambda expressions, the concept of maintaining pure functions, etc.)
